Ever since being exposed to the drum as a young boy, rhythm and music have been open avenues of personal expression. From popular American music such as Rock and Hip-Hop, to more exotic styles such as Reggae and Salsa, my creative side has gravitated toward black music. The most common question I have been asked at performances is “how did you come to play Latin Music?” People of these cultures are astounded to witness a white American immersed in the rhythms and melodies that they identify with
