In up-coming talent, only rarely will you find a complete and versatile professional like Kevin Ceballo. Kevin has an exquisite singing style and the vocal range and endurance of a mature, experienced singer. This young, multi-talented performer is also an actor, a bi-lingual songwriter, and a producer.
Kevin Ceballo's debut album Mi Primer Amor, was released on RMM Records in September 2000. An exciting mix of romantic Salsa as well as a classic sound, its diverse material showed off Kevin's versatility. Kevin's breakout single "Mi Primer Amor" rocketed to #1 on the Tropical Chart of Radio & Musica, where it remained for an incredible 7 weeks. It reached #2 on Billboard's Tropical chart in December, 2000 and #16 in their Latin Top 50. Mi Primer Amor included two tracks composed by Kevin: "What Kind Of Man", an English ballad, and "Quiero Bailar." a bi-Lingual crossover which went Top 10 in Panama and Costa Rica.
On February 8, 2001, at Univison's " Premio lo Nuestro" award show in Miami, Kevin won the honor of Revelacion del Año in the Tropical category. On February 17, Kevin Ceballo, Latin music's 'New Artist of the Year', brought his unique and exciting talent to Madison Square Garden, as one of the headliners of the "Concerto Del Amor."
Kevin is now signed with Universal Latino Records, and his second Latin CD with Producer Isidro Infante was released May 20, 2003. The first single from that CD, "Amame O Dejame" was released in April and reached #2 on the Tropical Charts in under two months, becoming #1 in several cities.
